Come
hang with us for the next 2 Sundays and uncover
the truth about the forgotten call of God.... Most
of the time we try to live our lives in the same way as the people around us
who don't believe in or follow God.
We do this and somehow we're
surprised when we get the same results! Our problem is that we've forgotten one of the most important and repeated calls of Jesus.
The
"forgetfulness" in this area has caused us to
miss out of the type
of life and experiences
he meant for us to have as Christ-followers.
What
have we forgotten? His call to stand out
and be different.
This
series will challenge us all with the idea of
being willing to be different and set ourselves
apart.
Are you willing to be a FREAK for God?
What would that look like? What you look like? What would your life look like?

About Being "Freaks" And Set Apart For God
Do
you wonder about the importance or the need
for us to set ourselves apart for God?

Blaise
Pacal said,
"There are two kinds of people one can call
reasonable: those who serve God with all
their heart because they know him, and those
who seek him with all their heart because
they do not know him."

| C.S.
Lewis
said, “If you read history you will
find that the Christians who did the most
for the present world were precisely those
who thought most of the next.” |

Spurgeon
said,
"Holiness is not the way to Christ; Christ
is the way to holiness." |
| A.W.
Tozer
said, "The stiff and wooden quality about
our religious lives is a result of our lack
of holy desire. Complacency is a deadly
foe of all spiritual growth. Acute desire
must be present or there will be no manifestation
of Christ to His people." |

Emerson Fosdick said, "The steady
discipline of intimate friendship with Jesus
results in men becoming like Him." |
| D.L.
Moody
said, "It is a great deal better to
live a holy life than to talk about it.
We are told to let our light shine, and
if it does we won’t need to tell anybody
it does. The light will be its own witness.
Lighthouses don’t ring bells and fire
cannon to call attention to their shining—they
just shine." |
